They can also give social dogs a productive break from group activity. The route and duration should match the dog’s age, health, conditioning, heat tolerance, confidence, and trail manners. Puppies, seniors, short-nosed breeds, dogs with mobility limitations, and dogs who are not conditioned for longer exercise may need a shorter or gentler alternative.

One-hour adventure hikes begin at $45, and two-hour adventure hikes begin at $55. Pricing includes travel time, the outing, and photos when available. Final availability may depend on distance, trail choice, weather, and the dog’s needs.

 

Safety Comes Before Mileage

Hikes are dependent on temperature, storms, trail conditions, daylight, and the dog’s behavior that day. Dogs remain secured according to the activity plan and are not permitted to roam freely on public trails. A hike may be shortened, moved, postponed, or replaced with a safer enrichment activity when conditions are not appropriate. The goal is a positive experience, not a fixed mileage target.
