Dog Pickup, Drop-Off, and Shuttle Options

A convenient way to connect your dog with boarding, daycare, or an adventure.

Transportation may be available for approved Adventure Awaits Fido! clients depending on location, reservation type, route, and the day’s schedule. We use time ranges rather than exact arrival times because each route may include multiple dogs and normal traffic delays.

Door-to-Door Pickup or Drop-Off

Pickup or drop-off may be available within the regular service radius. Within approximately 25 minutes of Adventure Awaits Fido!, transportation is generally $20 one way or $36 roundtrip.

 

Meetup Locations

A meetup can reduce travel time for families who live farther away or are already traveling through the area. Common meetup options may include locations in or near Cornelia, depending on the route and schedule.

 

Daycare Shuttle

On daycare days, a morning shuttle window and afternoon or evening return window may be offered. Exact availability depends on enrollment and route efficiency.

How Scheduling Works
Transportation is scheduled in a range rather than at an exact minute. Families should be ready during the confirmed window and provide clear access instructions when door-to-door service is arranged.

Routes may change because of weather, traffic, dog needs, client delays, or another unforeseen issue. We will communicate meaningful changes as soon as reasonably possible.
Preparing Your Dog for the Ride
  • Use a properly fitted collar or harness with current identification
  • Have the dog leashed and ready during the scheduled window
  • Provide food, medication, and belongings in clearly labeled containers
  • Tell us about motion sickness, car anxiety, escape behavior, or handling concerns
  • Avoid sending unnecessary valuables or bulky items
Dogs are secured according to the vehicle setup, their size, behavior, and compatibility. A crate, seatbelt restraint, car seat, divider, or another appropriate method may be used.
Transportation Has Limits
Transportation is not guaranteed for every location or reservation. Longer-distance service may require a custom fee, a meetup point, or a minimum stay. A dog who cannot be safely loaded, secured, or transported may need owner-provided transportation.

Regular routes may serve Baldwin, Cornelia, Mount Airy, Demorest, Toccoa, Clarkesville, Homer, and other nearby Northeast Georgia communities. Farther locations are considered according to route and reservation details.
